Back by popular demand, Keeping the Weather Out: Homeowner How-Tos is filled with home maintenance tips and techniques geared for all skill levels. Learn how to fix cracks and drafts, replace rotted wood, and do basic door and window repairs. The class takes place at the beautiful cream-colored brick Queen Anne-style home of Frank Fandel, founder of Fandel's Department Store and one of Central Minnesota's largest retailers. Make your home more energy efficient and ready for the cold weather season with this fast-paced, interactive class. Join Eric and learn how to keep the weather out!
This class is part of the education program of Rethos: Places Reimagined. Rethos is proud to offer a variety of classes for homeowners, students, Realtors, and others who love old buildings. The Rethos education program is funded in part by the Arts & Cultural Legacy Fund through the Minnesota Historical Society.
Rethos: Places Reimagined requires all attendees to wear face masks and maintain social distancing for the duration of the class.
Refund policy: Please email firstname.lastname@example.org if you would like a refund on your purchased ticket. Rethos will arrange to refund the cost of the class. Refunds are provided up to seven days prior to the class.
Cancellation policy: A class may be cancelled due to low enrollment. Decision to cancel a class will be announced to registrants at least 24 hours before the class' scheduled time. Refunds will be provided to all registrants.
