REVITALIZE MN

CREATING JOBS & REBUILDING COMMUNITIES

A Historic Coalition
Minnesota's Historic Structure Rehabilitation Tax Credit (MN Statute 290.0681), passed into law in 2010, has been a successful economic development tool for revitalizing distressed, vacant, and underutilized historic properties throughout the state. The credit provides a refundable income tax credit equal to 20% of qualified rehabilitation expenses made to buildings listed on the National Register of Historic Places and used for income-producing purposes (including office, industrial, retail, hospitality, and rental residential).

However, all of these wonderful economic benefits to the State of Minnesota will go away unless we extend this program in 2021. We've created this coalition to raise awareness and engage and educate our legislators on the advantages of this tax credit for businesses, workers, and cities and towns across the state.

Join the coalition or donate today to help Minnesota create jobs & rebuild communities!

The facts are clear, Minnesota's investment in the Historic Rehabilitation Tax Credit pays dividends.
