Older homes were not built to handle the electronics we have today. Wiring ages over time, and as homeowners repair and remodel, they have a great opportunity to upgrade old and outdated wiring. Instructor David Donnelly will have a stud wall and discuss installing new construction outlets and new existing wall outlets. We will install a basic switch and lighting circuit. David will also discuss updating old wiring and fixture basics.

Instructor David Donnelly is a licensed contractor, Realtor, old home lover, food truck builder, and lifelong Twin Cities resident.

This is the third session in a six-part series on basic home maintenance, in partnership with the Minnesota Tool Library. The links below take you to MTL’s registration platform. PAM Sustaining Donors can use the promo code ‘PAM19SD’ get 20% off!
