Rethos and NARI Minnesota are proud to present City Stories, a new week-long celebration of architecture, history, and design across the Twin Cities metro.
Building on the legacy of Doors Open Minneapolis and the MSP Home Tour, City Stories invites residents and visitors alike to explore the places that shape our region—from iconic landmarks to hidden gems. Signature events include home tours, walking experiences, and talks curated in partnership with local heritage, cultural, and design organizations.
Doors Open Minneapolis is your chance to explore the buildings that tell our city’s story. From theaters to business hubs, sacred spaces to private clubs, sports complexes to engineering wonders, historical gems to not-even-open-yet buildings, Doors Open Minneapolis will give you a FREE behind-the-scenes look at dozens of exciting venues. Building owners and caretakers will provide unique perspectives that illustrate why these venues, people and businesses, are central to our city’s identity.

Discover historic buildings, manufacturing hubs, breweries, creative spaces, and more! Doors Open Duluth will give you a FREE behind-the-scenes look at exciting venues. Building owners and caretakers will share what makes these places — and the people behind them — essential to Duluth’s identity. This inaugural event will center on Lincoln Park.
