From Craftsman to Colonial Revival, Foursquare to Federal and beyond, residential interiors boast distinct design elements that add character, charm and value. In this class, you'll learn about the qualities that define old house styles, and gain insights on common layouts, features, materials and finishes of homes built from the 1880s to the 1960s. Curriculum will also touch upon the social and cultural changes that influenced various architectural styles.

This overview, taught by historic preservation expert Erin Hanafin Berg of the Rethos, is worth 3 CE credits to licensed Minnesota Realtors®. It is open to all.

Registration and Refunds : Online pre-registration is mandatory; we are unable to take walk-ins.

Refund and cancellation policy: No refunds or credits will be granted for non-attendance. Refunds are provided up to seven days prior to the class. Please email info@mnpreservation.org if you wish to cancel your registration and would like a refund. Preservation Alliance of Minnesota will refund the cost of the class within 7 days of your cancellation.

Late Arrival/Early Departure Policy : DOC rules state that all attendee’s receiving continuing education credit must arrive and stay during the scheduled class time. If you are not on time or cannot stay for the whole class you will not be able to receive your CE credits.
