July 23- Zoning for New Housing in Old Buildings

The series kicks off with a session on zoning, diving deep into the history of zoning practices and changes that can facilitate adaptive reuse and increase housing units without destructive demolition.

July 30- Net-zero in a 100 year-old House: A Case Study

The second webinar delves into the detailed process of converting an old house into a net-zero building, showcasing innovative techniques and technologies while addressing potential pitfalls and obstacles to broader implementation.

August 6- Why Old is Green The third session will explore the environmental benefits of preserving and maintaining old buildings and existing infrastructure.

August 13- Pathways to More Sustainable Homes The final session will synthesize the key insights from the series and offer practical steps for implementation, including policy changes at the local, state, and national levels.

All webinars will be on Tuesdays from 12:00 noon - 1:00 PM.
