Do you have old wood windows in need of some TLC? Ready to practice window repair skills? Join Joe Hayes, owner and operator of Hayes Window Restoration, for a hands-on workshop all about windows. Joe will explain common window issues and demonstrate basic repairs. This class will focus specifically on re-roping double-hung windows, glazing, paint prep, and painting. You are invited to bring a window from home! We'll also have plenty of practice sash to use.

Designed for homeowners and property owners who plan to restore and repair their old windows, this workshop is primarily a hands-on practice session. Still, debating whether to do it yourself or hire a pro? Check out our window repair resources here, or email our staff with questions: info@rethos.org.

Ticket transfer policy: If you are unable to attend a class but would like to transfer your registration to someone else, please email info@rethos.org with the contact info of the person who will be taking your spot in class. We’ll update our attendance list accordingly.

Scholarships: Tickets are $25 per attendee. If this is not feasible for you, please apply for a Rethos Education Scholarship!

Refund policy: Please email info@rethos.org if you would like a refund on your purchased ticket and we will arrange to refund the cost of the class. Refunds are provided up to seven days prior to the class.

This class is brought to you by the Education program at Rethos. Rethos is proud to offer a variety of classes to homeowners, students, realtors, and anyone who loves old buildings. The Rethos Education program is funded in part by the Arts & Cultural Heritage Fund through the Minnesota Historical Society.
