Residential Building Permits and Inspections will cover which residential projects require permits and how long they last and will delve into building project inspections, including when inspections take place and who are the inspectors. You will also learn how to find your property lines.
Instructor Chukwunyere ‘Chuks’ Ugochukwu recently built a home and will share his experience and provide examples from communities of various size across the state. Professor of Planning and Community Development at St. Cloud State University, Chuks specializes in heritage preservation, community and urban design, community development and land use. Chuks has served on the city of St. Cloud’s Zoning Board of Appeals and currently represents the University on the city’s Heritage Preservation Commission.
