This class will be presented as a webinar, and is pay-what-you-can (excluding real estate agents).

Minnesota's cities, town, and neighborhoods boast a wide variety of architectural styles. But can you name those styles and identify their characteristic features? This two-hour class looks at the common styles of old Minnesota homes, from the 1850s through the 1960s. You'll learn to distinguish a Queen Anne from an Italianate home, name the essential elements of a Craftsman, understand the historical trends that influenced these styles, and much more.

Taught by architectural historian Kristin Anderson, this class will strengthen your knowledge of urban and residential evolution, Minnesota's architectural styles, and local history.

This course has been approved by the Minnesota Commissioner of Commerce for 2 hours of real estate continuing education. It is open to all.

Refund and cancellation policy: No refunds or credits will be granted for non-attendance. Refunds are provided up to seven days prior to the class. Please email natalie@rethos.org if you wish to cancel your registration and would like a refund. Rethos will refund the cost of the class within 7 days of your cancellation.

Late arrival/early departure policy: DOC rules state that all attendee’s receiving continuing education credit must arrive and stay during the scheduled class time. If you are not on time or cannot stay for the whole class you will not be able to receive your CE credits.
