Why Old is Green: Sustainability in Older Homes - 2 CE Credits

Beyond the buzzwords, this class breaks down the how and why of sustainability in homes. Instructor Alissa Pier, AIA, shows  us how old homes are in fact green. Alissa's presentation talks about sustainability as it relates to materials, community, and quality of life. You'll learn how old homes can adapt to change and reduce cost of living, and you'll get a thorough introduction to traditional building materials, good design, and energy efficiency.

This class is approved by the Minnesota Department of Commerce and is worth two CE credits for Minnesota real estate  licensees. It is open to all.

This class is part of the education program of Rethos: Places Reimagined. We are proud to offer a variety of classes for homeowners, students, Realtors, and others who love old buildings. The Rethos education program is funded in part by the Arts & Cultural Legacy Fund through the Minnesota Historical Society. Funding for this project was also provided by Clean Energy Resource Teams (CERTs).

Refund policy: Refunds are provided up to seven days prior to the class. Please email natalie@rethos.org if you would like a refund on your purchased ticket. Rethos will arrange to refund the cost of the class.

Cancellation policy: A class may be cancelled due to low enrollment. Decision to cancel a class will be announced to registrants at least 24 hours before the class' scheduled time. Refunds will be provided to all registrants.
