Window repair at a new location, taught by Laura Leppink & Northern Bedrock Historic Preservation Corps., introduces you to window repair and restoration. We will learn how to glaze, refurbish, and repair windows through hands-on training. The class will be hosted at Halfway Ranger Station historic district in Ely, Minnesota. We are lucky enough to explore and rehabilitate Depression-era windows at the historic CCC-built research station.
Come with your questions and curiosities about historic window repair! We will supply all the tools and windows.
This class is brought to you by Rethos: Places Reimagined and Northern Bedrock Historic Preservation Corps. Rethos Education is financed in part by the State of Minnesota from the Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund through the Minnesota Historical Society.
