On Saturday, October 4, Rethos proudly brought the Doors Open event to Duluth for the very first time. More than 325 participants made at least 1,250 visits across the 10 Lincoln Park venues.Â
It was a beautiful, sunny fall day, and attendees enjoyed guided tours, hands-on activities, and rare access to some of Lincoln Park’s fascinating spaces. Along the way, they met artists, business people, and community members who together brought the story of the neighborhood to life.Â
Highlights included a lively Doors Open kickoff party, a Doors Open Duluth Day proclamation from mayor Roger Reinert, a bagpipe performance, and an incredible team of volunteers and venue leads who made the event possible.Â

More than half of attendees came from Duluth, while others traveled from across the region — including visitors from Minneapolis–St. Paul, Milwaukee, and Fargo.Â

Given the success of this first year, we’re hoping to build on the momentum and make Doors Open Duluth an annual tradition.Â

Thanks to Mayor Reinert and the City of Duluth, as well as the Lincoln Park Business Group for supporting this event as well as our fantastic sponsors, listed below.
