Another successful Minnesota Main Streets State Conference is now in the books. With program directors, board members, community leaders, and others from across the state (and a few from Wisconsin, too) dedicated to revitalizing and celebrating the heart of their towns and cities.  

The Federal programs that administer, support, and fund historic preservation and community development are threatened by cuts.

Budget cuts are particularly threatening to Main Street communities and underserved communities in urban and suburban areas, as they help fund important community efforts that support small towns, historic buildings, and local businesses.

Pass a bill that will improve and modernize the Historic Tax Credit program.

This year’s Old Home Certified (OHC) was a resounding success, training 34 realtors on the ins and outs of old homes.

The Catalyzing Underutilized Buildings (CUB) tax credit proposal is still in the mix of potential legislation. Now is an excellent time to contact your legislators and ask them to support enacting the CUB credit,.
